Wild Hearts - The Highland

from £595.00

There is something ancient about a Highland Pony on high ground. They have been part of the Scottish landscape for centuries — sure-footed, weatherproof, and utterly unhurried. One of Britain's oldest native breeds, and one of its most at risk.

This image was made during the Wild Hearts project — a six-year journey across the UK documenting all thirteen of Britain's rare native horse breeds. I found this one exactly where it belonged. On the rock, against the sky, completely still.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag archival paper, hand signed, numbered, and packaged by me before it leaves for its new home.

Limited edition of 25. Once sold, this image is retired permanently.

Available sizes:

  • 16×20" — £595 unframed / £795 framed

  • 20×30" — £895 unframed / £1,150 framed

  • 30×40" — £1,450 unframed / £1,850 framed

Please allow 7–10 working days for your print to be prepared and dispatched.
