Wild Hearts - Wild Welsh — Welsh Section B
She walked straight toward me through the fern, unhurried, curious, entirely herself. The Welsh Section B carries something of the mountain in its face — fine boned and intelligent, shaped by centuries of Welsh moorland and wind.
One of Britain's most graceful native breeds, and one of its most overlooked. This image was made during the Wild Hearts project — six years documenting all thirteen of Britain's rare native horse breeds before their stories are lost.
Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag archival paper, hand signed, numbered, and packaged by me before it leaves for its new home.
