Wild Hearts - Dartmoor Pony
The Dartmoor is one of Britain's oldest and rarest native breeds, shaped over centuries by the granite moorland that bears its name. Hardy, intelligent, and deeply rooted in the British landscape — yet today critically endangered, with fewer than 5,000 remaining worldwide.
This image was made on Dartmoor during the Wild Hearts project — a six-year journey documenting all thirteen of Britain's rare native horse breeds before their stories are lost.
Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag archival paper, hand signed, numbered, and packaged by me before it leaves for its new home.
Limited edition of 25. Once sold, this image is retired permanently.
